What does a “turnkey” project involve?

The turnkey service covers all stages of the process — from concept to the final handover of a space ready to live in or use. - Development of the architectural and/or interior design project - Definition and selection of materials and finishes - Coordination of teams and suppliers - Site supervision - Final handover of the completed space All management is centralised within the Spacemakers team, ensuring aesthetic consistency, adherence to deadlines, and budget control.

What is the average cost of a project / how is the budget calculated?

Each project is entirely bespoke, and the budget depends on factors such as: - Type and size of the space - Level of intervention (renovation, decoration, or both) - Chosen materials and finishes - Whether construction work is required or it’s purely decorative After the initial meeting or completion of a detailed form, a preliminary, no-obligation quote is prepared, tailored to the client’s needs.

How long does it take to complete a project? (Project timeline)

The timeframe varies depending on the type and complexity of the project: - Decoration projects: between 2 and 4 weeks - Renovation projects involving construction work: between 2 and 6 months, depending on size and material approval Throughout the process, the client receives a detailed schedule outlining each stage and its corresponding deadlines.

What is Spacemakers’ working methodology?

The process follows a structured and transparent methodology that ensures ongoing support and a fully personalised experience: 1- Initial briefing — meeting to understand the client’s style, needs, and budget 2- Concept and moodboard proposal — visualising the aesthetic and functional direction 3- Technical and 3D project — detailed solutions and material specifications 4-Budgeting and scheduling 5- Execution and site supervision 6- Final handover of the space The client is involved in all key decisions, with continuous guidance until completion.

Does Spacemakers work only in Lisbon?

No. Although the studio is based in Lisbon, Spacemakers undertakes projects across the entire country, with a stronger presence in Lisbon, Greater Lisbon, Setúbal/Comporta, and the Algarve.
